St Clair – Semi-Pro Kicks Off!

The first of two semi-pro events was held recently on Lake St Clair taking out of the Harley Ensign ramp. Director Paul Cowen had a great group of anglers assemble for this fun day of fishing. The big lake and anglers did not disappoint as a majority of the teams brought in limits to the scales.

First place went to the team of John Bonanno & Dan McGerty with a huge limit of smallmouths topping the scales at 21.56#. Following in second place was the team of Brian Belevender and Steve Griffin with 19.42# and rounding out the top 3 was the team of Mike Nolan & Terry “Lunch Money Lures” Melvin. Big Bass of the day went to the team of Alex Esselink & Jo Digiovanni with a giant 5.35 smallie.

We like to thank all of the anglers who came out and fished with Paul in the semi-pro tournament. The next semi-pro event will be September 20th launching out of Harley Ensign on Lake St Clair.
